"Absolutely ace experience. James is an excellent guide. He knows Salisbury Plains inside out. He tailored the safari to our interests. There is a lot to see there - military stuff, archeology, nature. And the views were amazing. We all had a great time. Very highly recommended." Aug 2018
"We had beautiful weather which allowed for some amazing views, saw plenty of wildlife, followed the army in their Land Rovers and much to the delight of my car obsessed children (teen & pre-teen), the army controlled practice town where Top Gear filmed a sequence with Jeremy Clarkson being shot at!
James the guide and driver is lovely, really knowledgable about the Plain, its history and current use and no puddle was too deep for him to bounce through eliciting plenty of giggles from the kids in the back and big grins on the faces of the adults." Feb 2018
"We had our reservations about just how fun and/or interesting a trip around Salisbury plains could be and we were pleasantly surprised.
James was an excellent host and asked what we wanted to get out of the day before setting off.
As 'adrenaline junkies' we wanted lots of off roading whilst taking in some sights and learning a little about the surroundings and history and this is exactly what we got.
We laughed from start to finish and would not hesitate to go back and do it again or recommend to family and friends.
A brilliant way to spend an afternoon.
Make sure you wear appropriate clothing for the weather. Whilst you're in a vehicle it might be advisable to wear wellies or walking boots if you want to get out at any point to explore a bit. The plains can be rather muddy!!" Feb 2017
